Primitive Barrel & Raku Firing Workshop
Arrive with up to four bisqued pieces to prepare and fire using either the primitive barrel or raku firing techniques during our special combo firing workshop.

For the barrel firing, we will wrap our pots in foil saggars with various organic and chemical materials, igniting them to produce wild colors and unpredictable patterns for uniquely stunning results.

In the raku firing, you’ll have the opportunity to apply a selection of provided raku glazes to your pieces, creating shiny and impressive finishes.

Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and beverages to enjoy around the fire as we discuss all things related to alternative firing. Engage with fellow enthusiasts while the magic unfolds and leave with your completed pottery the same day!

Instructor: Lacie Warden
